RESOLUTION NO. R26-51 
 
A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY 
OF GLENDALE, MARICOPA COUNTY, ARIZONA, 
AUTHORIZING THE ADOPTION OF THE VISION 
ZERO GOAL. 
 
WHEREAS, Safety is a shared obligation. The City of Glendale is dedicated to proactive 
infrastructure and enforcement, driving toward a singular goal: zero traffic-related deaths and 
serious injuries by 2050. 
 
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GLENDALE as follows: 
 
SECTION 1.  That it is deemed in the best interest of the City of Glendale and its citizens 
thereof that the Glendale Council make a commitment that City of Glendale will adopt the Vision 
Zero strategy with the goal of eliminating all traffic fatalities for all users on Glendale roadways. 
 
 
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED by the Mayor and Council of the City of
