John Kazmerski, Recording Secretary 1. CALL TO ORDER Commissioner Quin called the meeting to order at 4:06 pm. 2. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES 1. Historic Preservation Commission Minutes of May 23, 2024. Chair Timothy Quinn called for a motion to approve the minutes. City Hall & Murphy Park Remodel Update Presented by: Eddie Garcia, City of Glendale Architect 3. Heart of Glendale Plaque Update Presented by: Alex Lerma, Sr. Planner 4. Historic Preservation Survey Presented by: Alex Lerma, Sr. Planner 5. HPC Tour Update Presented by: Tabitha Perry, Deputy Director 5. CITIZEN COMMENTS Mr. Goree' from the Ocotillo district commented that he would like more diversity on the commission and expressed concerns over new construction in Catlin Court not meeting historical neighborhood guidelines. 7. STAFF REPORT 1. Introduction of Duane Hoskins, Principal Planner 2. Introduction of Gurnoor Tschudy, Associate Planner 8. COMMISSION COMMENTS AND SUGGESTIONS Commissioner Quinn requested hard copy materials be printed double-sided in the same orientation. Commissioner Taylor commented on name plate corrections. 9. NEXT MEETING The next regular meeting of the Historic Preservation Commission is scheduled for January 23, 2025, at 4:00 p.m., in The Board Room of the Glendale Civic Center, 5750 W. Glenn Drive, Glendale, Arizona, 85301. 10. ADJOURNMENT Commissioner Timothy Quinn adjourned at 5:27 pm.
