On August 9, 2024, we received correspondence from Alan Heathcoat, Principal Engineer at the Transportation Department. In his email, Mr. Heathcoat communicated that the Transportation Department has decided to waive the requirement for a traffic study for application (CUP24-04) Transcendence Bodywork. I have a client that is proposing a massage therapy business to move into a suite of offices at 8751 N 51st Ave. It is an existing medical office building. No improvements are proposed for either the building or site. She proposes only occupying two rooms, a waiting area and a treatment room, and will only attend one client at a time. She may hire a receptionist in the future. Therefore, she will need a max of 3 parking spaces. Could you please confirm for me that a TIA is not necessary? Thank you, Amy
