PLANNING COMMISSION SPECIAL WORKSHOP MINUTES

CALL TO ORDER 
Chairperson Crow called the meeting to order at approximately 5:03p.m. 
 
ROLL CALL 
Commissioners Present: 
Commissioners J. Crow, Nowakowski, Wilfong (departed at 
7:18pm), Cole, and Vice Chairperson Nyberg, and Chairperson Crow were present. 
 
City Staff Present: 
Nancy Mangone, Deputy City Attorney, David Richert, Interim Planning 
Administrator, Jamsheed Mehta, Development Services Director, and Diana Figueroa, Recording 
Secretary. 
 
ITEM 
Chairperson Crow called for the item. 
 
Presentation of the Unified Development Code 
General Overview of Module 1 - Zoning Districts & Development Standards & Module 2 
- Supplementary Use Standards  
Matthew Klyszeiko, AICP, Department Manager - Planning, Michael Baker International, 
Inc. 
 
Mr. Matt Klyszeiko, Michael Baker International, made a presentation regarding Module 1, the 
Sign Ordinance, and Module 2, Residential Parking. 
 
Questions from the Commission were addressed by Mr. Klyszeiko and city staff. 
 
NEXT MEETING 
The next regular Workshop of the Planning Commission is scheduled for Thursday, May 6, 2021, 
at 5:00 p.m., at the Glendale Civic Center, 5750 West Glenn Drive, Glendale, Arizona, 85301.  
 
ADJOURNMENT 
With no further business, Chairperson Crow called for a motion to adjourn. 
 
Commissioner Cole made a motion to adjourn.  Vice Chairperson Nyberg seconded the 
motion, which was approved unanimously. 
 
The meeting was adjourned at 7:22pm.
