DRAFT MINUTES HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION COUNCIL CHAMBERS CONFERENCE ROOM B3 5850 WEST GLENDALE AVE GLENDALE, ARIZONA 85301 NOVEMBER 16, 2021 4:00 PM CALL TO ORDER Chairperson called the meeting to order at approximately 4:00 PM. ROLL CALL Chairperson Tim Quinn, Theodora Hackenberg, Elaine Gomez, Larry Rovey, and Willow Taylor were present. Commissioners Absent: Mickey Lund, and Vice Chairperson Sharon Wixon were absent and excused. CITY STAFF Jamsheed Mehta (Development Services Director), Alex Lerma (Planner), and Samantha Cope (Administrative Support) were present. CITIZEN COMMENTS: No citizens were present, so no citizen comments were made. APPROVAL OF MINUTES Ms. Taylor moved to approve the May 28, 2020 meeting minutes, and Ms. Hackenberg seconded the approval. All were in favor and none opposed. WITHDRAWALS AND CONTINUANCES There were no withdrawals or continuances. ITEMS A. Heart of Glendale Bronze Plaques- Mr. Lerma gave a presentation. OTHER BUSINESS Mr. Quinn – Brought up an Agricultural district that Mr. Rovey mentioned that nothing had been done. Ms. Hackenberg – Discussed a piece of land purchased over by Westgate. Mr. Mehta – Suggested to bring back the General Plan Amendment if there is anything applicable. STAFF REPORT- None. COMMISSION COMMENTS AND SUGGESTIONS- 2 Ms. Collins went over the current ZIL Appeal for Catlin Court, and informed them court proceeding have been filed.
