discussed in Resolution 5656. Dominium’s project sounds noble, but this land runs
along a railroad, and very busy municipal airport, which is active from 5AM to 10PM

certain way. We put our entire life's savings into our homes and they are out biggest
investments. To try to change the land usage AFTER people have lived nearby is criminal. This

public safety, CANNOT handle this burden.

Further- According to Dominium’s own proposal the apartment complex will require the first
resident of each unit to be a minimum of 55 years old. ‘Additional tenants can be 19 years and
older, Any tenants under 18 years can stay for 3 months at a time. According to their proposal
{T WILL BE UP TO THE TENANTS TO ENFORCE THIS. Maricopa County does not offer
age-restricted zoning, so if the rezoning application goes through it will simply be zoned for
residential use.
This does not take into account the schools that this complex would feed into or at or above
capacity, the water orisis that we are facing or the fact that this is the county island and would
be governed by the Maricopa County sheriffs department and they are short staffed and unable
to handle the calls that they are currently receiving
