Community Solutions Funding Proposal 
The City of Phoenix will utilize Community Solutions Funding (CSF) in the amount of $110,000 
to support two Projects serving eligible residents in the City. The first Project will serve 
Veterans with an income of Zero-30% Area median income (AMI) at risk of or facing 
homelessness. The City, through US VETS, a non-profit community agency, provides 
transitional housing and permanent supportive housing and wraparound services for eligible 
Veterans. CSF of $100,000 will be utilized for the City owned shelter to renovate and expand a 
commercial kitchen and dining area including equipment, space redesign, interior finishes and 
any other required facility improvements. The second Project will support eligible families in 
the City of Phoenix with an income not to exceed 80% of (AMI) in need of home repairs and 
maintenance. The City will partner with Habitat for Humanity Central Arizona to utilize 
$10,000 in CSF for exterior home maintenance and landscaping in the Habit for Humanity 
Sunnyslope Coalition.

12. Please attach a budget proposal detailing the use of all funds.  The budget proposal 
should include the account level detail for uses and estimated timeline. The budget 
proposal should be broken out by year for multi-year projects.

expenditures associated with public funds, including ensuring that each purchase is a necessary 
and prudent expenditures of public funds. 
 
By signing this proposal, Administering Authority acknowledges that all expenditures must 
comply with the applicable County policies (including but not limited to Code of Conduct, 
Acceptable Use of County Purchasing Card, Procurement Code, Community Outreach, and Travel 
Policy as applicable). In addition, the expenditures must not violate any existing federal, state, or 
local laws, including Conflict of Interest laws (A.R.S. §38-501 through 38-511).

stated in the Community Solutions Funding policy (A1125).
