Refurbish the existing splash pad by replacing the underground water storage tanks,
replacing broken equipment, removing concrete pad, and replacing with Tuff Coat
Safety Surfacing. The current splash pad has broken equipment that is limiting the water
pressure and the existing water tanks are too small and not properly insulated which
results in hot water being distributed to the splash pad.
This project supports the Early Head Start program that provides services for children
ranging from ages 1 to 5 from 7 different zip codes.
