Dear Ms. Grigg: 
 
The Maricopa County Special Health Care District submits this letter to inform you 
that the District has no-objection to Sub-Zero Inc.’s new operation being 
constructed on 36.442+/- acres located at 17255 W. Camelback Road in Goodyear 
(Maricopa County), AZ. This new facility and the current Sub-Zero FTZ facility 
located at 4295 N. Cotton Lane in Goodyear will become a Subzone for Sub-Zero’s 
Goodyear operations.  
 
Sub-Zero Group, Inc. is requesting that their current FTZ facility located at 4295 
N. Cotton Lane in Goodyear (within Site No.3) be combined with their new facility 
located at 17255 W. Camelback Road, in Goodyear, AZ to form a Subzone within 
FTZ No. 277. The new facility will consist of a 599,351 sq-foot building on a 
36,442 acre site. 
 
We understand the resulting tax implications from the proposal, in reclassifying for 
property tax purposes Sub-Zero Group, Inc.’s real and personal property located at 
the site referenced above. Thus, the Maricopa County Special Health Care District 
expresses “no-objection” to the proposed property tax re-classification.
