NOTICE OF PROPOSED IMPROVEMENT
RESOLUTION OF INTENTION - RESOLUTION NO. 2
BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF 130TH STREET AND 
CHANDLER HEIGHTS ROAD PAVING IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT AS FOLLOWS:
1.  That the Board of Directors of said Improvement District intends to order the following 
work to be performed:
The paving of 130TH Street from Chandler Heights Road to Brooks Farm Rd.  
The improvement to be approximately 20 feet width of traveled way, as 
approved by the County.  Paving to consist of 2” AC Pavement over 4” ABC or 
approved equivalent with Shoulders. 
Said work to be done in accordance with the Plans, Specifications and Estimates 
relating to said work, which Plans, Specifications and Estimates have been approved by the 
Board of Directors of the District and are presently on file in the office of the Deputy Clerk of the 
District and are presently open to inspection in the office of the Superintendent of Streets at 
2901 West Durango Street, Phoenix, Arizona.
2.  That the Board of Directors of the District has determined that the work is of more 
than local or ordinary public benefit and therefore the Board hereby makes the costs and 
expenses of said work payable and chargeable against the following-described Assessment 
District:
The W2 of E2 of SW4 of Section 24, Township 2 South, Range 3 East of the 
Gila and Salt River Meridian, Maricopa County, Arizona.
3.  That a map showing the property contained within the Assessment District has been 
prepared, is on file in the office of the District Engineer and is presently open to inspection at 
2901 West Durango Street, Phoenix, Arizona. 
4.  That the Board of Directors of the District hereby determines that improvement bonds 
will be issued to represent the cost and expense of the work to the extent that the same will not 
have been paid 40 days after the date of the warrant and assessment, or after the date of 
assessment if no warrant is issued, or five days after the decision by the Board upon an 
objection. The bonds shall bear interest at a rate of 8% per year and the bonds shall mature 
over a period of not to exceed 10 years.  The bonds are payable only out of a special fund 
collected in not to exceed 10 annual installments from unpaid assessments of $25 or over.
5.  That the bonds will provide for their redemption prior to maturity on any interest 
payment date and upon the payment of the principal and accrued interest to the date set for 
redemption plus a premium at redemption not to exceed five percent (5%) of the principal 
amount of the bonds so called for redemption.  The bonds shall be delivered to the contractor 
for the amount of the assessments remaining unpaid.

6.  That owners in the Assessment District may file a written protest against the 
improvement or may file objections to the extent of the district to be assessed to pay the 
expenses of the improvement with the Deputy Clerk of the District, 2901 West Durango Street, 
Phoenix, Arizona 85009, or the Clerk of the District, 301 West Jefferson Street, Phoenix, 
Arizona 85003, on or before September 31st, 2024.
7.  That the proceedings being taken regarding the proposed work are being taken 
pursuant to Title 48, Chapter 6, Article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes.
