Re: Aguila Irrigation District 2020 Election of Directors

Dear Ms. Medaris,

Pursuant to A.R.S, §16-410(A), Aguila Irrigation District (“AID”) hereby requests cancellation of its
election of directors scheduled and noticed for November 10, 2020. AID has received timely nomination
petitions and nomination papers from only three candidates—one for each of the three divisions. Those
candidates are the current incumbents, as follows:

Daniel Dempsey— Division 2
Chris Franks—Division 1
Stephen Martori—Division 3

Enclosed are copies of the referenced nomination petitions and nomination papers. AID respectfully

requests that the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors cancel the November 10, 2020 election, and

appoint the above-named persons to fill the three director seats, one for each division, for three-year
terms commencing January 1, 2021.
