Re: Ocotillo Water Conservation District 2020 Election of Directors

Dear Ms. Medaris,

Pursuant to A.R.S. §16-410(A), Ocotillo Water Conservation District (“OWCD”) hereby requests
cancellation of its election of directors scheduled and noticed for November 10, 2020. OWCD has
received timely nomination petitions and nomination papers from only one candidate, for a single at-
large seat. That candidate is as follows:

Cheryl M. Zamboni—Director at Large
Enclosed are copies of the referenced nomination petitions and nomination papers. OWCD respectfully
requests that the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors cancel the November 10, 2020 election, and

appoint the above-named person to fill the one Director at Large seat for a three-year term commencing
January 1, 2021.
