Extension Justification
1. Provide a detailed justification and explanation
for extending the period of performance.
Over the last year, MCSO staff have worked dilligently with
County OET staff to get the Active Operating Picture (AOP)
project viable for use by the region. Desptie progress on
the project, MCSO Command and support staff have
decided to move the project to a different vendor and
enhance the ICJIS Pragmatica GIS project to facilitate the
same need filled by AOP. The decision was made as the
AOP project/platform was not a sustainable tool moving
forward. Staff have met with and procured an estimate to
integrate existing work (from the AOP project layers,
sources, etc...) into the ICJIS platform, as well as additional
content and features. The new project has an estimated
timeline of 6-8 months from the start date. This will utilize
the funds allocated to the 04AP-03-GISS AEL within the
2018 UASI grant. In addiiton, the exiting monies within the
13IT-00-INTL AEL will be expended to support the ongoing
COPLINK Cloud Integration/Platform. *Updated* Recent
discussions with ICJIS and Pragmattica have outlined a few
delays in this project. With the COVID19 pandemic and
several large scale issues with other Pragmatica
customers, progress on the JWI map was delayed.
Discussions now suggest that all parties are confident that
the work within the grant will be completed by 12/31/2020.
There has currently been $11,286 of work done on the
04AP-03-GISS AEL We are requesting to extend to
12/31/2020
Objective 1:
Date:
2. What is the new timeline for completion, including all major objectives? Please include specific date(s)
and a deliverable for each project objective.
