MODIFICATION 1
to

MASTER INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT

This Modification “1” (“Modification”) to the Master Intergovernmental Agreement originally dated July
1, 2016 (“Agreement”) by and between the Arizona Board of Regents for and on behalf of Arizona State
University (“ASU”) and Maricopa County, a political subdivision of the State of Arizona, for and on
behalf of the Air Quality Department. (“Client”) is effective as of the date of the last signature below.
Capitalized terms not defined herein shall have the meanings set forth in the Agreement.

NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereby agree as follows:
To extend the term of the Agreement until 1 July 2026
Except as specifically stated herein, all other terms and conditions of the Agreement remain unchanged.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have caused this Modification | to the Agreement to be
signed by their duly authorized representative.
