This is a formal request from Hoffman Terrace Irrigation Water Delivery District No. 3 (IWDD3) to cancel
the biennial election required for completion by November 18, 2020. In accordance with ARS 16-410(A), this
district seeks approval of the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors for the request. More than eighty homes
in our district were polled via e-mail for their vote to either re-elect our current board members and/or to
volunteer for the two additional vacant board positions we now have. Only one ballot was returned during the
30 days following distribution of the letter on July 6" 2020. Our residents apparently are not interested in
changing the status-quo.

The current board members, Joyce Moderow and Lee Walters, have agreed to continue as officers of the
Board of Trustees for Hoffman Terrace IWDD#3 for the next two year period.
