This notice serves as a formal request to cancel the triennial election for Western Meadows Irrigation
District that was to take place on November 10, 2020. In accordance with ARS16-410(A), the district
seeks approval of the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors to have the election cancelled and the
appointment of the current board member, duly qualified to be retained for their term of office for
which they were nominated. A public board meeting was held on August 27, 2020 and it was noted
that no other persons turned in a petition to run except the current board member.
