SPECIAL NOTICE OF AN EMERGENCY MEETING OF
THE MARICOPA COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
TO BE HELD (September 11, 2020)

Pursuant to A.R.S. § 38-431.02(D), notice is hereby given that an emergency session of the
Maricopa County Board of Supervisors will be held on September 11, 2020, at 10:00am, at
301 W. Jefferson — 10" floor, Phoenix, AZ, 85003. The meeting will be held telephonically
and in person.

At the emergency Executive and Open session the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors
will consider Legal Advice and possible action related to: the decision of the Arizona
Supreme Court in the case of Arizona Public Integrity Alliance, Inc. v. Adrian Fontes, Fran
McCarroll, Clint Hickman, Jack Sellers, Steve Chucri, Bill Gates and Steve Gallardo in their
official capacities, CV-20-0253-AP/EL. The emergency is due to the decision of the Supreme
Court in this case, and the need to receive legal advice and possibly provide direction related
to the mail-in ballots for the 2020 general election in order to meet mailing deadlines.
