Action Requested: 
 Approve an Intergovernmental Agreement between Pinal County by and Through the Pinal County 
Sheriff’s Office (PCSO) and Maricopa County by and through the Sheriff's Office (MCSO) for PCSO 
Detention Officer recruits to attend MCSO Detention Academy for a cost of $250 per academy 
registrant.    This IGA is effective July 1, 2020 through June 30, 2022 and when signed by the parties.   
Following the initial term, it will automatically renew for up to two, one-year terms unless canceled or 
terminated. 
 
This Agreement can be amended by mutual written consent by authorized parties and can be 
terminated with a 30-day written notice of termination.
