AMENDMENT NO. 2 
TO THE 
INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT  
BETWEEN 
MARICOPA COUNTY 
ADMINISTERED BY ITS 
HUMAN SERVICES DEPARTMENT 
AND 
TOWN OF WICKENBURG 
 
I. 
Maricopa County (the “County”), by and through its Human Services Department, and the 
Town of Wickenburg (“Town”) entered into a financial Intergovernmental Agreement 
(“Agreement”) to integrate the County’s workforce development system into the Town’s 
library system. The Town provides funds to the County for program service delivery. The 
Agreement contains a Start Date of July 1, 2018, and a Termination Date of June 30, 
2019. The Agreement may be extended for three additional one-year terms. The County 
and the Town collectively are referred to as the “Parties.” 
 
The Parties fully executed Amendment No. 1 to the Agreement on or about December 2, 
2019.  Among other things, Amendment No.1 extended the term of the Agreement from 
July 1, 2019 to June 30, 2020 (Renewal Term #1). 
 
II. 
The Parties now agree to enter into this Amendment No. 2 (Renewal Term #2) to amend 
the Agreement as follows: 
 
A. 
Extend the Agreement term from July 1, 2020 to June 30, 2021 (“Extension 
Period”). 
 
B. 
Add that the Town shall reimburse the County in not to exceed amounts of $4,221 
per month a total of $50,645 for the Extension Period.  
 
C. 
Add Attachment A, which modifies the Itemized Service Budget for the Extension 
Period. 
D. 
Add the following new section: 
18.0 
WRITTEN CERTIFICATION PURSUANT TO A.R.S. § 35-393.01 
If the Town engages in for-profit activity and has 10 or more employees, 
and if this Agreement has a value of $100,000 or more, then the Town 
certifies it is not currently engaged in, and agrees for the duration of this 
Agreement not to engage in, a boycott of goods and services from Israel.  
This certification does not apply to a boycott prohibited by 50 U.S.C. § 4842 
or a regulation issued pursuant to 50 U.S.C. § 4842. 
III. 
Upon approval of Amendment No. 2, one (1) one-year renewal term will remain. 
 
IV. 
This Amendment No. 2 is subject to the provisions of A.R.S. § 38-511.

V. 
The foregoing paragraphs contain all the changes made by this Amendment No. 2. All 
other terms and conditions of the Agreement and Amendment No. 1 shall remain the same 
and in full force and effect as approved and amended. 
 
VI. 
The Parties have authorized the undersigned to execute this Amendment No. 2 on their 
behalf. 
 
VII. 
This Amendment No. 2 shall be effective upon approval and signature by both Parties.
