Request for Approval to Hold a Mail Ballot Election
Dear Ms. McCaroll:
Queen Creek Irrigation District ("QCID") is an irrigation district comprised of lands located primarily in
Maricopa County, Arizona. The Board of Directors of QC1D wishes to conduct by mail ballot its annual
election to fill one vacancy on its Board, in accordance with A.R.S. §§ 16-558 to -558.02. Therefore,
pursuant to A.R.S. § 16-558(A), the Board of Directors of QCID hereby requests approval from the
Board of Supervisors of Maricopa County to conduct a mail ballot election for the purpose of electing
one director, to hold office for a term of three years beginning January 1, 2021.
