Maricopa County Certification Regarding Fair Housing 
 
As a recipient of Federal funds through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), 
and in order to comply with its certification to affirmatively further fair housing, Maricopa County has 
conducted a Regional Analysis of Impediments to Fair Housing Choice to assess the availability of fair 
housing choice within the Urban County and participating Entitlement Jurisdictions.  I affirm that 
Maricopa County will support activities to assure non-discrimination in the provision of housing and its 
accompanying transactions.
