RESOLUTION AND ORDER
C-06-20-418-7-02
WHEREAS, pursuant to A.R.S. § 9-471.02 and 9-471.03, the City of Avondale passed and 
adopted Ordinance No. 1711-1219 declaring the deannexation of the territory described as follows:
A portion of land being situated within the Northeast Quarter of Section 30, Township 1 
North, Range 1 East of the Gila and Salt River Meridian, Maricopa County, Arizona, 
being more particularly described as follows:
COMMENCING at a found brass cap in hand hole accepted as the Northeast corner of 
said Section 30 from which a found brass cap in hand hole accepted as the North 
Quarter corner thereof bears South 89°12'39” West, 2599.41 feet;
Thence South 89°12'39” West, 33.00 feet along the north line of said Northeast Quarter 
to the POINT OF BEGINNING;
Thence leaving said north line, South 01°08'51" East, 2505.58 feet along a line that is 
parallel with and 33.00 feet west of the east line of said Northeast quarter;
Thence South 89°21'06” West, 32.00 feet;
Thence North 01°08'51” West, 2505.50 feet along a line that is parallel with and 65.00 
feet west of the east line of said Northeast quarter;
Thence North 89°12'39" East, 32.00 feet along the north line of said Northeast quarter to 
the POINT OF BEGINNING.
The above described parcel contains a computed area of 80,178 sq. ft. (1.8406 acres) 
more or less and being subject to any easements, restrictions, rights-of-way of record or 
otherwise.
WHEREAS, Maricopa County passed and adopted an Ordinance annexing the same 
territory described above; and
WHEREAS, the aforesaid Ordinances were filed with the Maricopa County Board of 
Supervisors; and
WHEREAS, after such notice as was appropriate and legally required, the Maricopa 
County Board of Supervisors scheduled a hearing on the matter on March 25, 2020; and
WHEREAS, it was determined at such hearing that the requirements of Section 9-471.02 
and 9-471.03, Arizona Revised Statutes, have been satisfied; and
WHEREAS, no protests were filed before the Board of Supervisors,

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AND ORDERED that the territory be deannexed 
from the City of Avondale and that the same territory be annexed to Maricopa County; and
 
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this order be filed with the Recorder's Office of 
Maricopa County.
