AMENDMENT NO. 2 TO THE 
INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT 
FOR SERVICES BETWEEN 
MARICOPA COUNTY 
ADMINISTERED BY ITS  
HUMAN SERVICES DEPARTMENT 
AND 
THE CITY OF TOLLESON 
 
 
I. 
Maricopa County (“County”), administered by its Human Services Department, entered 
into a financial Intergovernmental Agreement (“Agreement”) with the City of Tolleson 
(“Subrecipient”) on or about September 5, 2018. The purpose of the Agreement is for the 
County to provide the Subrecipient with funds to perform housing rehabilitation to 5 owner- 
occupied homes located in the Subrecipient’s redevelopment area. The County has 
provided the Subrecipient with $325,000 in U.S. Department of Housing and Urban 
Development (HUD) Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds. The 
Agreement term began on August 29, 2018 and ends on June 30, 2020. The County and 
the Subrecipient are referred to here as the “Parties.”  
 
The Parties executed Amendment No. 1 on or about November 1, 2018, which addressed 
insurance requirements. The Parties executed Administrative Change Order No. 1 on 
January 22, 2020, which, among other things, revised Budget Line Item amounts but did 
not change the total Agreement Amount. 
 
II. 
The Parties now agree to amend the Agreement by this Amendment No. 2 as follows:  
 
A. 
Extend the Contract Termination Date from June 30, 2020 to August 29, 2020. 
 
III. 
The Agreement is amended to incorporate the changes contained in this Amendment No. 
2. All other terms and conditions of the Agreement, Amendment No. 1, and Administrative 
Change Order No. 1 shall remain unchanged and in full force and effect as executed by the 
Parties.  
 
IV. 
This Amendment No. 2 is effective upon approval and signature by both Parties.
