SPECIAL NOTICE OF AN EMERGENCY MEETING OF 
THE MARICOPA COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS 
Was Held March 13, 2020, at 2:30pm. 
Pursuant to A.R.S. § 38-431.02(D), notice was hereby given that an emergency executive 
and open session of the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors was held on March 13, 
2020, at 2:30 p.m., at 301 W. Jefferson — Tom Sullivan Conference Room and Supervisors' 
Conference Room, 10th floor, Phoenix, AZ, 85003. 
The need for this emergency meeting is due to the effect the COVID-19 pandemic is having 
on Election Day planning including a diminishing number of poll workers able to work at 
polling places, and the closure of a number of polling locations. 
At the Executive Session the Board received legal advice regarding statutory duties related 
to election procedures, the election operations agreement and legal contracts. 
At the emergency session and Press Conference, the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors 
reviewed information about election day plans and provided information about where voters 
can find additional information related to the March 17, 2020, Democratic Presidential 
Preference Election. More information can be found at: www.Locations.maricopa.vote
