This Release and Extinguishment of Easement (“Release”) is made by the Flood Control
District of Maricopa County (“District”), a political subdivision of the State of Arizona,

and is effective as of the date of recordation.

RECITALS

WHEREAS, the District acquired a Fringe Easement and Agreement for Flood Control
Purposes (“Easement”) recorded on December 23, 2019 as Document No. 2019-1041355
in the records of the Maricopa County Recorder (“MCR”) for the benefit of District Parcels
known as Parcel F00394-FR and situated in a portion of the East half of Section 14,
Township | North, Range 1 West of the Gila and Salt River Base and Meridian, Maricopa

County, Arizona.

WHEREAS, said Easement states that said rights and easement created therein shall be
relinquished by the District, by separate recordable instrument, in the event the property is

protected from the standard project flood.
