C-22-16-032-G-09 Amendment No. 4 FY2019-20 Annual Action Plan Attachment A MARICOPA COUNTY PY2019 ANNUAL ACTION PLAN SUBSTANTIAL AMENDMENT 4 REGARDING CARES ACT FUNDING TO RESPOND TO COVID-19 BACKGROUND Maricopa County proposes the following CARES Amendment 4 to the 2019 Annual Action Plan. Maricopa County proposes to reallocate CDBG-CV funding (also known was CDBG-CV3) that was received from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) as a result of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act), Public Law 116-136. The funds may be used to cover or reimburse allowable costs incurred before the award of funding (including prior to the signing of the CARES Act) to prevent, prepare for, and respond to COVID- 19. AMENDMENT 4 TO THE ANNUAL ACTION PLAN (AAP) FY2019-2020 Maricopa County Human Services Department has deemed it necessary to make a Substantial Amendment to its 2019-2020 Annual Action Plan to reallocate $2,000,000 of CDBG-CV3 funding to include $825,000 from the Rental/Mortgage/Utility/Deposit Assistance project and $1,175,000 from the Public Services - Homelessness activity to support various Public Infrastructure/Public Facilities Improvements activities related to COVID-19.
