The Drug Enforcement Administration's (DEA) collaboration with our state and local pafiners is
essential to our efforts against major drug trafficking organizations. I invite you to continue your
participation in DEA'S Task Force Program and include for your review, the Fiscal Year (FY) 2022
Task Force Agreement(s).
According to our records, your office currently participates in the DEA's Phoenix Task Force with a
totalcommitment oftwo (2) full-time investigators. As outlined in the Agrcement, each position is
now eligible for overtime rcimbursement ofup to "25% of a GS-12, Step l, ofthe general pay scale
for the Rest ofthe United States," equivalent to a dollar amount of $19,370,00, per position, for the
fiscal year.
To ensure a searnless transition as we begin a new fiscal year, a signature and retum ofthe enclosed
FY 2022 DEA Task Force Agrcements and attached Certifications Regarding Lobbying;
Depaltmekt Suspension and Other Responsihility Matters; and Drug-Free lfo*place Requirements
is required by September 30,2021. Ifyour oIfice anticipates adelay, please notify my office's new
