The “Description of Request” on the abandonment application did not get updated from the Initial Determination application. I should think the description would more accurately be, Abandon 33’ Federal Patent Easement along the West and North sides of parcel 210‐08‐011. Reduce the Easement along the East side to 25’. The existing 33’ Easement along the South side is to remain. Please advise if additional clarification is required. MCDOT uses the language provided on the Application form itself to describe the abandonment being requested in the materials provided to reviewers, so I will need your input prior to routing this item for review due to this discrepancy. Can you please clarify whether the abandonment request text on the Application form can/should be modified to match what is shown on the Existing and Proposed Easements Parcel Map Exhibit? If this is an acceptable revision, then I can make that change and send you a copy for your records.
