Honoring Alejandro Salazar 
 
 
WHEREAS, the City of Tolleson is proud to recognize the outstanding achievements of its 
youth, who represent the promise and future of our community; and 
 
WHEREAS, Alejandro Salazar, a dedicated student and the Teen Council Mayor for the City of 
Tolleson’s Teen Council program, has demonstrated exceptional leadership, civic engagement, 
and academic excellence; and 
 
WHEREAS, Alejandro has been selected by the College Board National Recognition Program 
to receive the First-Generation Recognition Award for Outstanding Academic Achievement, a 
prestigious honor that reflects his hard work, perseverance, and commitment to excellence; and 
 
WHEREAS, his accomplishments serve as an inspiration to his peers and a source of great 
pride to his family, his school, and the entire Tolleson community; and. 
 
NOW, THEREFORE, I, Juan F. Rodriguez, by virtue of the authority vested in me as Mayor of 
the City of Tolleson, Arizona, do hereby commend and congratulate Alejandro Salazar for his 
remarkable achievements, both academically and through his service as Teen Council Mayor, and
