Personnel • FTEs o Firefighters – 11 / 5 vacant o Engineers – 7 / 0 vacant o Captains – 6 / 0 vacant o Battalion Chiefs – 2 / 1 vacant • Promotions/New Hires o New Battalion Chief Matt Weaver started with us April 28. o Firefighter AJ Nickens graduated from the fire academy on April 18, 2025 and is now working in the field as a probationary firefighter. • Certifications & Education o Three members attended the 2025 FDIC Conference in Indianapolis, and participated in valuable training and networking opportunities.
