Second Amendment to CDW Government Cooperative Purchasing Agreement

PURPOSE: 
The Information Technology Department is requesting the approval of the Second Amendment to the 
Cooperative Purchasing Agreement between the City of Tolleson and CDW Government, LLC for Software Value 
Added Reseller Services. 
 
BACKGROUND: 
CDW Government, LLC is a technology vendor that provides computer hardware, software, and consulting 
services to the City.  
 
DISCUSSION: 
The $50,000 addition to the annual request is based on projections that include new equipment purchases, 
software purchases, and consulting services to support upcoming projects and initiatives, as well as a buffer in 
the event of emergency purchases.  
 
BUDGET IMPACT: 
The City desires to amend the existing Agreement to increase the annual aggregate amount from $250,000 to 
$300,000 for additional services. Funds for this amendment are available in the approved budget under the 
appropriate accounts designated for software services procurement. 
 
RECOMMENDATION: 
Staff recommends the City Council approves the Second Amendment to the Cooperative Purchasing Agreement 
with CDW Government LLC.
