First Amendment to City Manager Employment Agreement

AMENDMENT NUMBER ONE TO CITY MANAGER EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT
BETWEEN
THE CITY OF TOLLESON
AND
REYES MEDRANO, JR.
THIS AMENDMENT NUMBER ONE TO CITY MANAGER EMPLOYMENT 
AGREEMENT (this “Amendment”) is made as of February X, 2025, between the City of 
Tolleson, an Arizona municipal corporation (the “Employer”) and Reyes Medrano, Jr. (the 
“Employee”).
RECITALS
A.
The Employer previously entered into a City Manager Employment Agreement 
(the “Agreement”) with Employee effective November 16, 2023.
B.
The Employer and Employee desire to amend the Agreement to provide cost of 
living adjustments consistent with all other city employees.
AMENDMENTS
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the foregoing recitals, which are incorporated 
herein by reference, the following mutual covenants and conditions, and other good and valuable 
consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged, the Employer and 
the Employee agree to amend the Agreement as follows (strikethrough removes the language 
from the Agreement and ALL CAPS adds language to the Agreement):
Section 6:
A. Base Salary. Employee’s Base Salary shall be adjusted starting July 1, 2025, and each 
fiscal year thereafter in accordance with the City’s approved compensation plan as 
determined during the budget process. The City Council may SHALL provide Employee 
with cost of living adjustments and merit (performance) increases THE SAME as 
PROVIDED TO ALL OTHER CITY EMPLOYEES. it otherwise sees fit.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have executed this Agreement as of the date 
and year first set forth above.
