Why are you interested
in serving on the
Tolleson City Council?
The skills, training and experience I possess could be an asset to
the city. Post pandemic there has been an increase in grief in
society and many have turned to substance abuse as a way to
escape. The rising cost of housing due to inflation has also
contributed to more individuals living on the streets. In the City of
Tolleson we have seen an increase of transients with substance
issues that are overflowing to our streets from the local treatment
center on 99th Ave (CBI). I am interested in working with the City
Council to help remedy this issue utilizing the skills I have to
facilitate CBI enforcing the safe discharge placement of their
patients back to the communities which they came from. Thereby
removing these individuals from the danger of the streets in the
heat and keeping the city streets safe to its residents.
