Request to Town Council Regular Meeting (Agenda Language) 
CONSIDERATION AND POSSIBLE ACTION: Approval of Council Subcommittee A's 
recommendation to reappoint a member to the Community Services Advisory Commission 
for full three-year terms (May 1, 2026 – April 30, 2029). 
 
Staff Summary (background) 
The purpose of Council Subcommittee (A) is to review applications, interview applicants (in 
Executive Session) and provide a recommendation to the Mayor for possible appointment to 
fill vacancies based upon the applicants' skills, experience, and background as required under 
Section 9.4. of the Council Rules of Procedure. 
 
Pursuant to Council Rules of Procedure, Section 9.2(A), a call for applications was issued in 
March 2026 to fill two vacancies on the Community Services Advisory Commission. 
 
Incumbent Commissioner Craig Ruldophy submitted a request for reappointment as the 
current term is set to expire at the end of April 2026. 
 
In accordance with Council Rules of Procedure, Sections 9.2(F) and (G), Subcommittee A 
conducted an interview with the available applicants and reviewed the reappointment requests 
submitted by the incumbent.  
 
At its meeting on March 24, 2026, Subcommittee A completed its review for appointments to 
the Community Services Advisory Commission for full three-year terms, commencing May 1, 
2026, and ending April 30, 2029:
