A. CALL TO ORDER – Mayor Bratcher called the meeting to order at 1:30 PM

D. NEW BUSINESS 
 
1. Discussion and Direction with Duffy Group for Intake and Strategy Session on 
Town Manager Recruitment 
 
Tarah Mayerhofer, HR Director, reported that this is the meeting regarding the 
Town Manager Recruitment in meeting with the Duffy Group who was approved 
by the Council on January 21, 2025. This meeting is to set the priorities and 
expectations, review the draft job description, set the hiring salary, discuss 
residency requirements and the recruitment process.  
 
MOVED BY Councilmember Kristy Bedoian to adjourn into executive session at 
approximately 1:34 PM

Meeting reconvened at 3:40 PM with Mayor Bratcher, and Councilmembers 
Bedoian, Clark and Nyberg in attendance. 
 
Tarah Mayerhofer, HR Director, provided a summary of the executive session. 
The Town Manager recruitment will continue with Duffy Group proceeding with 
the process. A hiring range has been set which is appropriate for the position. 
There will be a residency requirement. The Council wants to find someone who is 
a cultural fit. There will be public transparency of the process. It is expected to 
take about fourteen weeks to have candidates. 
 
Mayor Bratcher wanted to clarify that Vice Mayor Jones and Councilmember 
Rovey did attend the executive session but had to leave prior to the 
announcement of the summary.  
 
E. EXECUTIVE SESSION - (Council May Vote to Go Into Executive Session Pursuant 
to A.R.S §38-431.03(A)(3) to Receive Legal Advice from the Town Attorney on Any 
of the Above Agenda Items.)
