Intensification Project
• Influent flow has reached 80% of rated average daily
capacity.
• Peak flow conditions occur at 3 times the rated capacity.
• Total nitrogen levels are more than twice the design
concentration.
• Regulatory Requirements:
• Design for expansion must begin at 80% capacity
• Construction must begin at 90% capacity.

I move to approve the contract with Felix Construction Company for the
South WWTP Intensification Project in the amount of $2,903,161.00 per
Bid 24-03 and authorize $600,000 from Wastewater 1 Contingency and
the use of budgeted ARPA funding.
