My vision for the Planning & Zoning Committee is a thriving Wickenburg that balances economic expansion with preservation of authentic western heritage —fostering sustainable infrastructure, attracting new industries, and creating high-paying jobs to ensure prosperity for residents and businesses alike. 4) What brought you to Wickenburg? What other organizations in Wickenburg do you volunteer at? We were drawn to Wickenburg by its western charm, tight-knit community, and slower-paced lifestyle. None at this time, as | have recently retired and am looking forward to becoming more involved in my community. 5) Is there any additional information that you think would be helpful for the Council to know when making a selection for members? I've just retired after 35+ years leading engineering projects on infrastructure, so | can give the Committee my full attention and a clear-headed take on keeping Wickenburg growing in the right direction. To review applications for adjustments and then do site-visits to make sure that everything would be acceptable to the TOW's goals. 4) What brought you to Wickenburg? What other organizations in Wickenburg do you volunteer at? My wife and | fell in love with Wickenburg when we escaped Washington state. | lived in Mesa while | went to Arizona State University in the late 80's and have always loved Arizona. | plan to volunteer at the Humane Society and the Wickenburg Sportsmen's Club. 5) Is there any additional information that you think would be helpful for the Council to know when making a selection for members? | am extremely easy going and enjoy meeting new people. This is one of the committee's that my served on for about 22 years and | had the opportunity to go with him and also went to some of the meetings to. 3) What do you see as the vision for the committee? | believe it to be to maintain Town Code and use discretion for the unique case that is able to use some flexibility of that town code that still would not infringe on another persons quality of life. 4) What brought you to Wickenburg? What other organizations in Wickenburg do you volunteer at? | was born here, 21 years ago, and was raised by my Dad, who served as Commander of the Citizen's Patrol for 14 years, srerved on the Board of Adjustment's for about 22 years, served on the Board of Appeals for the Town, and is still volunteerring his time on the Governing Board for the Wickenburg Unified School District. So yes, volunteering has always been big in our household and | aspire to give back as well. 5) Is there any additional information that you think would be helpful for the Council to know when making a selection for members? | am a quick learner and very willing to serve, and | just need the opportunity to show that | am able to do this.
