This Amendment is entered into between the Town of Wickenburg, an Arizona
Municipal Corporation (“Wickenburg”) and Charles Adornetto (“Contractor") to amend the
Contract dated July 2, 2025 (“Contract”).
RECITALS:
1.
Wickenburg and Contractor entered into the Contract related to Town Magistrate
Services.
2.
Wickenburg and Contractor desire to amend the Contract as hereinafter set forth.
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the foregoing premises and mutual promises
and agreements of the parties, Wickenburg and Contractor agree to amend the Contract as
follows:

Paragraph 3.1 is amended to read as follows:
3.1
Days and Hours of Operation. Magistrate shall conduct court operations on
Wednesday MONDAY, excluding all federal and state holidays, or other legal holidays recognized
by the Town in which the Town Court shall be closed for observance of such holiday AND
COURT DAY WILL BE MOVED TO TUESDAY ON WEEKS WHERE MONDAY IS A
HOLIDAY. Magistrate shall be available as necessary on other days that the court is open to meet
all legal requirements for the Town Court. Magistrate shall have discretion to set optimal hours of
operation on court days and virtual appearances, so long as such hours do not unreasonably impede
the public’s access to justice or impair the court’s ability to conduct business.

Paragraph 3.2 is amended to read as follows:
3.2
Case Adjudication.  Magistrate shall preside as Judge over all assigned court
calendar dockets in a timely fashion and shall recommend Judges Pro Tempore to the Town to
facilitate adjudication of cases in the absence of Magistrate.  In recognition that Magistrate may,
from time to time, experience illness, take vacation, or otherwise require absences which require
Judge Pro Tempore services to cover Magistrate’s court days pursuant to Section 3.1 above, the
Town agrees to pay for up to five days (for a total of 40 hours) for Wednesday MONDAYcourt
coverage and  coverage for initial appearances for Judge Pro Tempore Monday through Friday
services, at the Town’s expense, for each 12-month period worked during the Term of this
Agreement and any Renewal Term. Any additional Judge Pro Tempore services required by
Magistrate to cover court operations on Magistrate’s court days pursuant to Section 3.1 may be
deducted from Magistrate’s Compensation under Section 2.1 of this Agreement in accordance with
law.

All other provisions of the Contract shall remain unchanged.
