After the staff report was created, a letter of opposition was received from Gilbert indicating the 
use does not align with the Town’s General Plan. Gilbert has the region designated as ‘Office’ land 
use which includes office uses but not warehousing. The e-mail received from Veronica Gonzalez, 
Principal Planner states the Town does not support the rezoning application.

We at the Town of Gilbert would like to take this opportunity to comment on the proposed rezoning for Z240024. 
We have concerns with the proposed rezoning, as the property is designated as General OƯice in the Gilbert 
General Plan. While oƯice is permitted in the GO land use classification, warehousing is not, so the proposed 
development is not consistent with our General Plan. Therefore, the Town does not support the proposed 
rezoning.
