BACKGROUND INFORMATION: (WUD25-007) City Council approved this supplemental contract award on August 26, 2024, for an initial 18-month period with three, one-year renewal options to Arizona Pump Resources for the purchase and repair of chemical dosing pumps and water and wastewater pumps. The renewal of this contract is necessary as this vendor supplements existing contracts (WUD24-038-01, 02 and 03) that provide similar products and services. Water Utilities maintains in-house staff to perform repairs, but maintaining each of these contracts is necessary to ensure adequate availability for critical components utilized at the City’s water treatment facilities. This is the first of three, one-year renewal options. The performance of the contractor was rated by City staff as follows: Arizona Pump Resources Evaluation Criteria Meets Contract Requirements Does Not Meet Contract Requirements Personnel are responsive, cooperative and available X Quality of products and/or services delivered X Timeliness of performance X Follow-up skills in resolving complaints or problems X Promptness and accuracy of invoices X Renewal Costs Arizona Pump Resources has agreed to renew the contract with no price increase.
