REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION

ACTION: Adopt a resolution authorizing a maximum dollar amount for an individual job order of up to 
$3,300,000 for the purpose of procuring construction services for the Interior Space Planning and Design 
– BEAM – Project No. 6708281M.  (Resolution No. R2026.29) (Related to Agenda Item 8A7)
FISCAL IMPACT: Total amount of this job order will not exceed $3,300,000. Funds to cover this job 
order, related costs, and any future addenda are appropriated in Fiscal Year 2025/26 and future years, 
contingent upon City Council approval of the City’s annual budget, in Capital Improvement Project No. 
6711529 (BEAM).
RECOMMENDATION:  Adopt Resolution No. R2026.29.
 
BACKGROUND INFORMATION: This contract will construct two tenant spaces: an 11,000 square 
foot Financial Services and Auditing space and 4,650 square feet of future tenant space. These tenant 
improvements will create a new workspace model for the City of Tempe, including modern AV Systems, 
natural light and views for all occupants with shared work areas that support hybrid work schedules and 
wellness spaces.
The maximum dollar amount of an individual job order is two million dollars, unless the City prescribes 
a higher amount pursuant in accordance with A.R.S. §§ 38-431 et seq. This resolution increases the 
maximum amount under this job order to $3,300,000.00.
Award of the job order to Chasse Building Team, Inc. for construction of the improvements will be by 
separate Council Action.
