RESOLUTION NO. R2026.29
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY 
OF TEMPE, ARIZONA, AUTHORIZING A MAXIMUM 
DOLLAR AMOUNT FOR AN INDIVIDUAL JOB ORDER 
OF UP TO THREE MILLION, THREE HUNDRED 
THOUSAND FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROCURING 
CONSTRUCTION SERVICES FOR THE INTERIOR 
SPACE PLANNING AND DESIGN - BEAM (PROJECT NO. 
6708281M).
WHEREAS, Arizona Revised Statutes (A.R.S.), Title 34, Chapter 6, provides for 
procurement of construction services through job-order-contracting; and
WHEREAS, A.R.S. § 34-605(F)(l) provides, inter alia, that the maximum dollar amount 
of an individual job order shall be three million three hundred thousand dollars, unless the City 
prescribes a higher amount pursuant to an action undertaken at a meeting open to the public in 
accordance with A.R.S. §§ 38-431 et seq.; and  
WHEREAS, the City desires to expeditiously construct tenant improvements for the 
Financial Services Department; and
WHEREAS, to procure the construction services necessary for the Interior Space Planning 
and Design - BEAM (Project No. 6708281M) in an expeditious manner, a job order contract of up 
to three million three hundred thousand dollars is necessary.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE 
CITY OF TEMPE, ARIZONA, as follows:
Section 1. That the City may use a job order contract of up to a maximum of three million 
three hundred thousand dollars for the sole purpose of procuring construction services for the 
Interior Space Planning and Design - BEAM (Project No. 6708281M).
