REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION

ACTION: Approve a one-year contract renewal with Brycer, LLC for the collection, documentation, and 
records management of commercial fire equipment inspection reporting services for the Fire Medical 
Rescue Department.
FISCAL IMPACT:  There is no cost to the City for the services provided by this contract. All fees shall 
be paid for by the business entity receiving the inspection service. The potential annual economic value 
of this contract to the recommended firm is estimated at $367,040. The City receives a $10.00 
administrative fee per system inspection.
RECOMMENDATION:  Approve the contract renewal.
 
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:  (RFP 24-086) On April 25, 2024, City Council awarded a one-
year contract with four, one-year renewal options to Brycer, LLC for the collection, documentation, and 
records management of commercial fire equipment inspection reporting services for the Fire Medical 
Rescue Department. This contract supports Fire Medical Rescue staff by providing a contracted 
company that assists with annual inspections and reporting for commercial enterprises. If approved, this 
renewal is the second of four one-year renewal options
