REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION
Agenda Item: 7C3
ACTION: Adopt a resolution authorizing the Mayor or his designee to sign Amendment 7 to an

FISCAL IMPACT: There is no fiscal impact.
RECOMMENDATION: Adopt Resolution No. R2026.32.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION: The Maricopa County HOME Consortium project was first
authorized on or about May 4, 2017 to provide single family homebuyer assistance (down payment and
closing costs assistance) to homebuyers. The County initially provided the City with $321,086 in 2016
HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME) funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and
Urban Development (HUD). The original Agreement term was July 1, 2016, through May 4, 2019.

is to provide support for the City of Goodyear to participate in the Maricopa County HOME Consortium.
