ACTION:  PUBLIC HEARING ITEM Introduce and hold the first public hearing to adopt an ordinance 
authorizing the abandonment of the Ingress/Egress and Public Utility Easements, located south of 
Apache Boulevard and west of Price Road for 2152 East Wildermuth Avenue (Tempe Townhomes). 
The second and final public hearing is scheduled for April 16, 2026. (Ordinance No. O2026.13)
FISCAL IMPACT:  N/A
RECOMMENDATION:  Adopt Ordinance No. O2026.13.
 
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:  The Owner/Applicant of the Tempe Townhomes (VRD OZ 
Property Owner, LLC) located at 2152 East Wildermuth Avenue requests the abandonment of the 
Ingress/Egress and Public Utility Easements as described and depicted in the legal description and 
exhibit, to allow for the development and construction of a multifamily residential project.  The easements 
were originally dedicated as part of Tract A per Bk 659 Pg 40, recorded and filed in the records of the 
Maricopa County Recorder’s Office.
The Maricopa County Assessor Parcel number associated with this development is 133-02-069.
