REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION

ACTION:  Approve a contract increase with Carahsoft Technology Corporation Inc. for the purchase, 
implementation and support of an asset and workforce management software solution.
FISCAL IMPACT:  The total contract cost will increase by $167,015, for a new total amount of 
$2,789,811.36. Sufficient funds have been appropriated in the Water and Wastewater Capital Fund 
Project Number 3202025C (Computer Maintenance Management System – KloudGin) for anticipated 
expenditures during the current fiscal year and next fiscal year, contingent upon City Council approval 
of the City’s annual budget.
RECOMMENDATION:  Approve the contract increase.
 
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:  (CTR046098) On May 1, 2025, City Council approved the 
utilization of a State of Arizona contract with Carahsoft Technology Corporation, a value-added software 
reseller, for the purchase of a new asset and workforce management software solution (KloudGin). 
Carahsoft Technology Corporation has partnered with KloudGin to provide and implement this solution. 
This increase is needed to pay for future enhancements that were not part of the original project scoping 
and for services to support the conversion to the City’s new cloud-based utility billing software (CCS).
