ACTION:  Adopt a resolution to amend Appendix A - Schedule of Fees and Changes, Administration, 
Section 2-144 of the Tempe City Code related to Don Cassano Community Room Fees and Charges.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:  The Don Cassano Community Room opened in 2009 and is 
located in the Tempe Transportation Center at 200 East Fifth Street, Tempe. It is a 2,000 square foot 
conference room which holds up to 260 people and can be split into two smaller rooms. The current 
technology in the room is outdated and is in the process of being upgraded, including room configuration 
changes.  As such, the need for half room rental is no longer needed. The half room option was only 
booked seven times compared to 31 times for the full room in FY 2024/25. Fees for full room rental are 
in line with other city facilities and will not be adjusted.
