A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY 
OF TEMPE, ARIZONA, AMENDING APPENDIX A - 
SCHEDULE 
OF 
FEES 
AND 
CHARGES, 
ADMINISTRATION, SECTION 2-144 TO THE TEMPE 
CITY 
CODE, 
RELATING 
TO 
DON 
CASSANO 
COMMUNITY ROOM FEES AND CHARGES.
  
WHEREAS, under the Arizona Constitution, a city with a population of more than 3,500 
people is entitled to establish a charter for its government and that a charter city is granted 
autonomy over matters of local interests; and,
WHEREAS, the voters of the City of Tempe established the Tempe City Charter in 1964 
that vests policymaking in the Tempe City Council; and,
WHEREAS, the current technology in the Don Cassano Community Room is outdated 
and is in the process of being upgraded including room configuration changes; and,  
WHEREAS, the need for half room rental is no longer needed for the Don Cassano 
Community Room. 
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY 
OF TEMPE, ARIZONA, as follows:
Section 1.  Appendix A - Schedule of Fees and Charges, Administration, Section 2-144.2  
Transportation and Sustainability Department Don Cassano Community Room Fees and Charges 
of the Tempe City Code is hereby amended to read the follows:

^ Government agencies; entities that have a current intergovernmental 
agreement with the city; tenants of the Transportation Center. Groups cannot 
apply to be Community Partners.
Outside of business hours, a group of more than 100 people requires 1 or 2 off-
duty officers (at the discretion of the Tempe Police Department) at $36.42 per 
hour. 
Business hours are defined as weekdays between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. excluding 
holidays.
