Agenda Item 1 – Public Appearances 
Errin Khau spoke about the speeding of buses and frequency. He also stated that the light rail train moves slower through Tempe 
than in Phoenix and Mesa.  
 
Jared Kluge requested that a bus route be added along Price Road to connect to the city of Chandler. He also said that buses 
should have dedicated travel lanes and priority at traffic signals while vehicles should not share a lane with the Streetcar. He also 
said that there are plenty of parking garages in downtown Tempe and that Mill Avenue should have no vehicular parking on the 
street, and look at “pedestrianization” of Mill Ave.

Dawn Hocking introduced the minutes of the January 20, 2026 meeting of the Transportation Commission and asked for a motion 
for approval.
