ACTION:  Adopt a resolution to designate Lisette Camacho as the City’s Chief Fiscal Officer for filing 
of the Arizona Expenditure Limitation Report with the Auditor General’s Office for fiscal year 2026-27.

FISCAL IMPACT:  There is no fiscal impact associated with this action.
RECOMMENDATION:  Adopt Resolution No. R2026.47.
 
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:  Arizona Revised Statutes (ARS) §41-1279.07(E) requires each 
county, city, town, and community college district to annually provide to the Auditor General, by July 31, 
the name of the Chief Fiscal Officer the governing body designated to officially submit the current year’s 
annual expenditure limitation report (AELR) on the governing body’s behalf.
Consistent with ARS, cities must submit an updated form and resolution for any changes in individuals 
designated to officially submit the AELR. On June 17, 2024, Lisette Camacho was appointed Deputy 
City Manager/CFO.
